At The Chestnuts, we treat our residents like family. Our dedicated team provides personalised care services in a warm and welcoming setting. With our commitment to excellence, you can trust that your loved one will receive the highest quality of care and attention.
As a small family-run care home, we have the ability to offer environmental mastery. Moving into a care home is a scary prospect for most people. People associate care with loss of control, freedom, independence and dignity. People see it as an end step in their lives. We don’t believe this. When someone moves into The Chestnuts, they make new friends and have companionship, good food, valuable input, daily activities and freedom to live how they want to live.
A Warm and Welcoming Home from Home
We strive to create a friendly "home from home" atmosphere for our residents. Our dedicated team of caregivers go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. Join our family-run care home near Sleaford, Lincolnshire and experience the warmth and compassion that sets us apart.

5 Star Rated Residential Care in Sleaford
We truly believe you will not find a higher standard of care than the Chestnuts Retirement Home. So often, people are bored and lonely at home, and we aim to change this.
From the moment your loved one moves in, comes for respite care, or joins us for day care, they start forming friendships. This leads to companionship and brings structure back to their day.
Independent Living
At the Chestnuts, we encourage residents to engage with the local community, visit local shops or invite friends and family over for tea and homemade cake whenever they like.
We want people to treat our home as their home. Visitors are always welcome, and you don't need to make an appointment to visit your loved one.
We encourage people to keep their freedom and independence as much as possible. If your loved one can only walk short distances but still wishes to go to the shops, we have someone available every Monday to offer escorted trips.

Emergency Admissions
A lot of care homes will not accept emergency admissions. They require you to book a week or more in advance. However, we understand that life does not always run to plan.
We offer emergency same-day admissions seven days a week. We will do an assessment that day to ensure we can meet your loved ones' care needs, and then they can move in.
We can only offer this when we have a bedroom available so please get in touch with our team to check room availability.
